Harassment and Inclusion
WHAT IS INCLUSION?
Does it differ from diversity?
Or refer only to those with disabilities?
Can you achieve acceptance by providing access?
Is harassment the same as discrimination?
What is the legal conclusion when you practice exclusion?
What does it cost to comply? Is there some return on that buy?
Lots of buzzwords. A web of questions woven around a labyrinth of mandates.
Where do you begin to navigate inclusion?
It’s really a very simple concept at its most basic: Include people from all communities and backgrounds in your workforce so that your products, decisions, and practices reflect all the communities you do or want to serve.
The workforce reflects the society we live in, and we have to include everybody – encourage strengths and help support weakness. There is no difference in an employee or their perspective that can’t be used to a business’ advantage.
Who do you serve? Who do you represent? Who have you empowered? Who have you left out? What has been the cost? What is your exposure? Who do you need to bring to the table?
The questions aren’t new. The laws and terrain are. Let us help you navigate them.
